I've been racing BMX since 1980, seen the sport die off and was I still riding and supplying 'NOS' (New Old Stock) parts when Old School BMX had it's huge rebirth with collectors and sellers at the turn of millenium, known for my Torkers (I still have my Pro-X that I built in '84) I can be found attending the So-Cal BMX shows and riding at the Bellflower, Orange Y and Whittier Narrows tracks in the cruiser class.

Following a commission from the owner of the movie RAD tribute page (goto Links page) for a #33 replica plate for his Cru Jones replica Mongoose he had built, this spawned the manufacture of more replica plates to which a special limited run of 25 25th Anniversary plates with silver numbers, with individual serial numbers and a Certificate of Authenticity were made available, together with 4 individually named plates with silver numbers for the three organzers of the anniversary celebrations in Calgary, Canada and one for Bill Allen (the actor who played Cru Jones), alongside the original design black numbered replica plate. Plates are made by myself, in the good old US of A, and come complete with zip ties if you want to mount the plate to a bike. Plates can be purchased from my Ebay Store (trading as juliantorker) or just contact me through my website.

If you have a Cru Jones plate with this header card, it's one of the 1st generation that came with a header card. The current 2nd generation header card features the Canadian 25th anniversary.		If you're name is not on the card you didn't get a plate! Special silver numbered 25th anniversary plates issued to Bill Allen and the three organizers of the Calgary 25th RAD anniversary. The same plate design was also available in a ltd. serial numbered run of 25 that came with RAD anniversary stickers and Certificate of Authenticity.
